Black Flag Brewing Mooloolaba
Green Room Mgmt. Presents: free live music every month at Black Flag Mooloolaba. Curated line ups of the best local bands, with a focus on indie, alt rock, punk and post hardcore. Local Sunshine Coast acts come first.
Green Room Mgmt. is a Sunshine Coast booking agency and artist management company built on real relationships. We back bands for their talent, run nights where everyone feels welcome, and take Sunshine Coast music to bigger rooms around the country.
We work with bands, venues and crews for the long run. Straight talk, fair deals and showing up when we say we will. The people we work with today are the people we want to be working with in ten years.
A GRM night should feel welcoming from the door to the front row. First timers, die hards and the bands themselves, everyone should leave wanting to come back to the next one.
We back bands because they're good, not because of their follower count. If you've got the songs and the work ethic, we'll help you build the crowd.
Free entry Saturday nights in Mooloolaba, and ticketed shows on the 500 capacity inside stage in Coolum.
Green Room Mgmt. started with a simple idea: make live music accessible again, and give talented local bands a real path from their first gig to a national tour.
Run by Ben Russoniello, GRM sits right inside the grassroots Australian live music scene. Everything we do is built on relationships. We get to know the bands we work with, the venues that host us and the crews behind the desk, and we look after them like the long term partners they are.
We pick bands for their talent and their attitude, not their numbers. A great band with a small following is exactly who we want to help, and we'll put them on bills that grow their crowd show by show.
And every GRM night is built to be welcoming. Free entry where we can, carefully curated line ups, and a room where punters, bands and staff all feel like part of the same scene.
Ben started Green Room Mgmt. to give Sunshine Coast bands the kind of support he wished existed: someone in their corner who knows the venues, the crews and the road.
He books the shows, manages the roster and is usually the one at the side of stage making sure the night runs on time. If you email GRM, it's Ben who writes back.
Draft: swap in your own story and a photo of you.
Harassment, abuse and discrimination have no place at a GRM show. Anyone who makes the room unsafe is asked to leave.
If something feels wrong, tell venue staff, security or the GRM crew on the night. You can also contact us privately after the show.
Clear deals in writing, every band on the bill paid, and set times we stick to. Bands should feel as welcome as the crowd.
Draft: check this matches how you and the venues handle incidents before going live.
